System Engineer
Operate and maintain the systems behind reliable services. You will work across Linux, websites, networks and VPN/Proxy infrastructure in a hands-on technical environment.
What you will do
- Administer, operate and maintain Linux systems to keep services stable.
- Deploy, update and troubleshoot websites, servers and network systems.
- Operate, monitor and maintain VPN and Proxy nodes.
- Monitor servers, domains and websites, responding to operational issues.
- Develop or maintain automation scripts and backend code that support operations.
- Coordinate with Customer Support on technical tickets and user support when needed.
- Handle other system and network operations tasks as required.
What we are looking for
- At least one year of relevant professional experience.
- Strong Linux skills and experience operating servers or websites.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, CDN, Proxy and VPN technologies.
- Working familiarity with Linux, Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a responsive operational mindset.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.
- Website deployment, domain mapping and CDN knowledge are advantageous.
- Chinese language skills are advantageous.
